Susanna Argenterio Savelli, defines herself as Mercury of Angelo Savelli, or Messenger of his artwork.

Daughter of Innocenzo and Clotilde, younger sister of Ivonne and Patrizio, she was born on February 25, 1961, in the plain of the Po valley, in Corticelle Pieve, a small agricultural village, in the south of Bassa Bresciana.

Since she was a child she dedicated herself to dance and in the years to come, she deepened her studies in Florence, Milan and New York. As a professional she joined the world of national television entertainment.

In 1986 she left Italy and moved to New York where she met Angelo Savelli, of whom she became the elective daughter.

The history of Susanna and her family weave together with the fascinating journey of Angelo Savelli. The spiritual communion of Susanna and Angelo has never dissolved even after his death in 1995. She continues to strive to give evidence of the greatness of a “sensitive, mediumistic, romantic, unpredictable and nonconformist” artist.

In 2012 Susanna Argenterio Savelli published the book: “That devil of an Angel. Angelo Savelli, the painter of white, my second father.”

A book due for promise, told in utterly courageous honesty, inherent in confessions and protests.

On 22 October 2015 Susanna Argenterio, on the wish expressed in life by Angelo Savelli and twenty years after his death (April 27, 1995), was authorized by the Ministry of the Interior, with a prefectural provision, to add the surname of Savelli, due to the particular bond of filial affection that united them in life and due to the special respect for the artistic memory of the Master.

Susanna is happily married today and still has energy to continue the battle, giants against, in defense of the image and will of a generous artist who has touched her spirit forever.

Susanna Argenterio Savelli, si definisce Mercurio di Angelo Savelli, ovvero Messaggero della sua opera.

Figlia di Innocenzo e Clotilde, sorella minore di Ivonne e Patrizio, nasce il 25 febbraio 1961, nella pianura della valle del Po, a Corticelle Pieve, un piccolo villaggio agricolo, a sud della Bassa Bresciana.

Sin da bambina si dedica alla danza, di cui negli anni a venire, approfondisce gli studi a Firenze, Milano e New York. Da professionista entra a far parte del mondo dello spettacolo televisivo nazionale.

Nel 1986 lascia l’Italia e si trasferisce a New York dove incontra Angelo Savelli, del quale diventa la figlia elettiva.

La storia di Susanna e della sua famiglia si intreccia con l’affascinante cammino di Angelo Savelli. La comunione spirituale di Susanna e Angelo anche dopo la sua morte nel 1995 non si è mai dissolta. Continua a battersi per testimoniare la grandezza di un artista “sensibile, medianico, romantico, imprevedibile e anticonformista”.

Nel 2012 Susanna Argenterio Savelli pubblica il libro: “Quel diavolo di un Angelo. Angelo Savelli, il pittore del bianco, il mio secondo padre.”
Un libro dovuto per promessa, narrato in totale coraggiosa onestà, intrinseco di confessioni e proteste.

Il 22 ottobre 2015 Susanna Argenterio, sul desiderio espresso in vita da Angelo Savelli a vent’anni dalla sua morte (27 aprile 1995), è stata autorizzata dal Ministero dell’Interno, con provvedimento prefettizio, ad aggiungere al cognome paterno Argenterio il cognome di Savelli, in ragione al particolare vincolo di affetto filiale che li ha uniti in vita e per lo speciale rispetto alla memoria artistica del Maestro.

Susanna oggi è felicemente sposata e ha ancora energie per continuare la battaglia, giganti contro, in difesa dell’immagine e delle volontà di un generoso artista che l’ha toccata per sempre nello spirito.
